Automatically Collected Information and Anonymous Information

Each time you visit the Site, we collect some information to improve the overall quality of your online experience.

Aggregated Data. We collect aggregate queries for internal reporting and also count, track, and aggregate each visitor’s activity into our analysis of general traffic flow at the Site. To these ends, we may merge information about you into aggregated group data. In some cases, we may remove personal identifiers from Collected Information and maintain them in aggregate form, which may later be combined with other information to generate anonymous, aggregated statistical information. Such anonymous, group data may be shared on an aggregated basis with our affiliates, business partners, service providers and/or vendors; if we do so, we will not disclose your individual identity.

Web Server Log Data and IP Addresses. Log data that we collect may include information such as browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, your browsing pattern on the Site and/or click stream, the time spent on those pages, other statistics, and your IP address. An IP address is a number that automatically identifies the computer or device you have used to access the Internet. The IP address enables our server to send you the web pages that you want to visit, and it may disclose the server owned by your Internet service provider. We may use IP addresses to conduct website analyses and performance reviews and to administer the Site, although we will not combine traffic data with user accounts.
Cookies and Usage Reports. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a user’s computer for purposes of storing information about a user’s preferences. Many websites use cookies as a standard practice to provide useful features when a user visits the website, and most web browsers are set up to accept cookies. A session cookie is one that exists for the period that your browser is open. A persistent cookie is one that is saved on your device/computer even after the browser is closed. Like many websites, we may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s computer.

By placing Cookies on your device, the Company’s and its third-party service providers’ servers passively gather information about all visitors’ use of the Site for several reasons, including, but not limited to: (i) statistics collection and analysis; (ii) Site optimization, analytics (as described below); (iii) market research; (iv) and maintenance of user login information. The information that we and our third-party service providers track with cookies includes, but is not limited to: (i) the type of browser (such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer) and Internet-connected devices being used to access the Site; (ii) your IP address; (iii) your home domain or Internet service provider; (iv) your referrer URL (which is the URL for the Site that you were viewing prior to visiting the Site); (v) how you were directed to the Site; (vi) which specific pages you access on the Site; (vii) how long you view each page; (viii) the time and date you access the Site; and (ix) the total number of visitors to the Site and any portions thereof.

We use cookies to improve your online experience when visiting the Site. For example, cookies may be used to prevent you from receiving multiple requests to participate in the same survey. Information collected via the use of cookies may be used for marketing and/or research purposes and may be shared by us with our affiliates and unaffiliated parties. Further, we, and/or our third-party service providers, may use the information collected from cookies or similar files on your computer for security purposes (such as authentication) to facilitate site navigation and to personalize your experience while visiting the Site. This data helps us and our third-party service providers improve our respective product and services. We may also where permitted by law collect information about you from other sources through the use of cookies.

Most popular Internet browser applications will allow you to configure the browser so as not to accept cookies. However, setting your browser to reject cookies may, in certain instances, prevent you from taking full advantage of the Site (or some portion thereof) and its capabilities, or cause some features of the Site to function improperly or more slowly.

Google Analytics and Web Beacons

Our Sites may use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, in order to better understand your use of our Site and how we can improve your experience. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit a Site, what pages you visit when you do so, and what other websites you used prior to coming to such Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with your personal information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit the Site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Company Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of the Company Site, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected on the Company Site to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. To more fully understand how Google may use the data it collects on the Company Site, please review “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps,” (located here or any successor URL).

Some of the areas of the Site may contain electronic images known as web beacons that allow the Company, and its third-party providers or affiliates, to count and track users who have visited certain portions of the Site, and to be used in conjunction with cookies to compile aggregate statistics about website usage. A web beacon is an electronic image (also referred to as an “action tag,” “single-pixel,” or “clear GIF”) that is commonly used to track the traffic patterns of users from one web page to another in order to maximize web traffic flow and to otherwise analyze the effectiveness of the website. Some web beacons may be unusable if you elect to reject their associated cookies.
Web beacons collect only limited information and do not collect any of your personal information. Specifically, the Company plans to use a type of web beacon known as a “retargeting pixel,” which will allow users to receive targeted advertising from the Company via certain social media websites, including
